It is finally December (well, tomorrow it is). There is only two weeks left of school and I am so excited!!! I finished a research paper this weekend, so now all I have to worry about are my finals. I am so ready for this semester to be done and ready for Christmas vacation!!! I will be working most of the time up in Salt Lake, but it is only til 1 everyday, so Tyler and I will still have our afternoons together :)
Anyways, Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. The people we live with invited us up to spend Thanksgiving with them. It is the closest thing to "family" that we had here in Utah County without having to travel. It is really Tyler's brothers family, but we still think of them as family for us too. We had dinner at 2 pm and then after that, we played games and had so much fun! It was nice to feel welcomed :) After everyone left, one of the daughters invited us to their house, so we went. We went to their house and watched a movie. It was called "Clue" based off the game. It was very interesting and had some funny parts. It was still fun to go to someone's house and have fun.
Friday, it was decorating time :) We finally put up our tree and Christmas decorations around the house. We have been looking forward to this for a long time. We didn't want to go shopping. We both aren't Black Friday people. We just stayed home and enjoyed each others company.
On Saturday, the lady upstairs invited me and her daughter (Mandie) to go see Twilight! I have finally seen it!! Tyler did not want to see the movie, so I went with the girls. I was glad to finally see it, and I didn't have to pay for the movie either :). After I got back home, Tyler worked a little more on his homework while I was getting things ready in the kitchen. My family's tradition is to make real gingerbread houses....that is what we did. We had fun doing that too.

We aren't excited to go back to school or work. We have really enjoyed sleeping in, the time off, and being with each other all the time. It is something we both needed. The nice thing is that, again, there is only two weeks left of school and we are very excited!!! Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving too and have a great week!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!
It is finally Thanksgiving and I am so ready for it! I think I am more excited for the short week and food :) even though I shouldn't be. It will be nice to sleep in more than one day and be with my husband more than just the weekend. I do work Wednesday up in SLC, but it is to make up for the time I am not working on Thursday ( I prefer not to work holidays). Thursday, we will be joining the people upstairs and then we will head downstairs to set up our Christmas decorations!! We are so excited!! Also, we will be continuing on a tradition my family has done for many years. A tradition my family has is to make gingerbread houses ( not the cheap kind like graham crackers). We will probably do that Thursday or Friday. I made the houses 2 weeks ago out of a mold so they can firm up. This last weekend, we bought the candy to put on the houses. It will be a lot of fun. We will just have to "try" to resist the candy...
I look forward to the fall season because of the holidays. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving is one that is neglected. This is the time that people show more of what they are thankful for. We need to show it more than just one day a year, but I think it is kind of a reminder that we do need to be thankful for what we have. I am thankful for a wonderful husband who I love so so much, a house to live in (a basement), food on the table, gas in our cars, and money to live on and to be able to spend a little :). I just hope that we can all remember what we are thankful for this holiday season and show it through the rest of the year. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! We love you all!!!

I HATE SCHOOL!!
Don't you love how November is almost done? I know I sure do because that means school is almost done!!! I am so ready for this semester to be done! I hate my teachers and my schedule! I am so ready for next semester....I get to graduate and I have gone a little strict with my schedule. I will done at 5 or 5:45 each night except Friday's, I am done at 3! I hate getting home at 8 or 9 at night, say hi to my husband, eat a quick dinner and then go to bed. It is no fun at all. We hate it. Weekends are our time together, but sometimes we have things that come up where we can't be together at all! This weekend, for example, Tyler was up in Ogden at a workshop. He was there Friday night and all day Saturday! I am sure you are probably wondering why I didn't go with him and the reason is because I have to work on Saturday's! Agh! That is another thing I am doing. I will refuse to work any weekends. I want to go to workshops with him and spend time with him! Do you blame me? ;)
I am glad that next week is Thanksgiving. We only have to go to school on Monday and Tuesday, I will work in the morning in SLC on Wednesday, and then the rest of the week is ours together!!! YAY!! One thing we are really looking forward to is putting up the Christmas decorations. We have been resisting...We are so excited!! Not much going on this week. Hopefully it goes by fast. We will just have to keep busy so it will go by fast :)

What to do?!?
So, we all know that the holidays are here. When we are single, it is easy to know what to do. Go home! We want to be with our families. When we are married, we want to be with our families too, but which one? It would be nice if both of our families were close because then we could alternate easier or go to both, but with my parents in Texas, Tyler's Dad in Colorado and his mom in Nephi, we are torn on where to go. Our parents don't want us to be alone this Christmas, and we don't either, but we also don't want to go somewhere and just sit around the house waiting for our parents to come home after spending quite a bit of money on tickets. I hate just sitting around. Yes, it would be a nice vacation to just relax, but when you go somewhere that you don't know the area, it makes it very difficult.
We are also on a strict budget so we couldn't just go shopping or something. We have been working hard to save money to specific things and a vacation is one of them, but to somewhere exotic. We would like to go to Hawaii, London, or even a cruise! The problem is that those cost quite a bit of money and I don't have a passport. Those are now about $100! I hate how everything costs money!! We aren't even using credit cards, so we can't just put it on there and pay it off later.
I hate decisions. Especially when it comes to those you love. I want to be with those I love, but I also don't want to go and then be bored, wishing I was home. Maybe we will just go snowboarding a couple of times. Take a couple days off work and go have fun. We have a big decision ahead of us today. Hope we make the right decision.......

Happy November!
I can't believe that November is here already! October went by so fast, but that is completely fine with me :) I am so ready for this semester to be done and over with. I shouldn't complain since I only have 2 classes, but I am already sick of those classes. I feel like one class, the teacher is never prepared and just talks about random stuff. The other class, the teacher loves to talk and I have a hard time understanding his point. Somehow, in the last 5 minutes of class, he can connect it all, but it still isn't fun. I am so ready to graduate!
I think I am ready to just interpret in school and not go to school any more. I love to learn, but I hate the homework and the studying. You are probably thinking "how will you learn then?" I just like going to things for fun to learn. Take some notes on things that interest me, and call it good. That is my kind of learning ;)
Anyway, nothing much going on this week. It is election day on Tuesday, but I already voted, so, I really don't have to worry about that. I guess it is working on school work :( trying to stay ahead so I don't fall behind and have a lot to catch up on during finals week. Have a great week everyone!!!
