Solids...take 2

Cameron has been on solids for 2 weeks now. He is still liking them. As of last Friday, we started him on vegetables. He was not sure about that. His face was classic. I wish Tyler was there with me so he could have taken a picture while I was feeding him. We started him out on carrots. After 1 feeding of those, he loved them. He would open his mouth so I could put the spoon in. I love it when he makes it easy for me to feed. I don't know how long that will last though. Today we started squash. He was iffy about those too. Hopefully he will soon love them too. I am hoping to start making my own baby food soon. We want to save money as much as possible. I am making sure he isn't allergic to anything before I start making our own. Don't want to waste :)
This Friday, Cameron is turning 5 months old! I cannot believe it! He is getting so big!! Here is what he is up to:
  • eating solids
  • sleeps 10-11 hours a night (sometimes)
  • has rolled over twice
  • loves to lay on his side (only his left)
  • still is not a fan of tummy time
  • loves his rings
  • puts everything in his mouth
  • has the cutest smile ever
We are still so blessed to have this little one in our lives. He can have his frustrating moments, but it is so hard to be mad at him when he smiles up at you. Such a cute boy.

My favorite of Tyler and Cameron

Our cute boy :)

It is so fun to see him grow older each day. Love the pictures. Please keep sending them as I miss seeing all the kids and pictures are the only way to keep up on them. Love you all....mom

I'm glad to hear the solids are still going well. I'm sure he will do fine on all of them. Thanks for sharing the pictures. It's hard not being up there and seeing him grow up, but that helps out a lot. Love you both!

It is hard to be mad when they are so cute and have smiles that melt your heart! It makes the hard part of motherhood not seem so hard!!

sweet potatoes were noah's favorite. i made my own baby food, very simple and easy. it was easy when Noah grew older he never became a picky eater because he was already use to the flavor of the vegetables.

Noah LOVES all the vegetables we gave him as a child. Good luck when you do make your own, its so worth it.
