New Furniture!

Yes, that is right. We finally have our own furniture. We have been saving for a while now. We only have a bed, which is good, but if we move, we don't have anything else. We knew that we would need a couch and a TV, so, we finally saved enough for a couch and we finally have one! We are way excited! We don't get it until Friday, but we have been cleaning so much so that we are ready for when it does come. I think the best part is that we paid full cash for it! We are obviously trying to get out of debt and we don't want to add to it, so we waited until we saved up! It is awesome! It is microfiber, so we can clean it easily. It will really change the front room, but it is so worth it!

True Friends

One thing that I hate is when you thought you were friends with someone and then you find out that they stabbed you in the back! What kind of "friend" is that? Not a true friend. A true friend is someone you can trust. You can tell them anything in the world and they won't go telling people. Even if you have a fight or something, you still keep that secret. It hurts when you find out that someone is telling people those secrets.

Not many people have seen me mad. Tyler hasn't even really seen me mad until last night. I found out that one of my "friends" is talking about me behind my back. So much for friends. If you don't like me, fine, tell me, but if it starts to involve my husband, that is not fine. I think that hurts me the worst. My husband is the best thing that has happened to me and when you start to talk about him too, you have just pissed me off!!!

I have been "friends" with this person for a while. I listened to them when they needed me. When they wanted advice, I gave it to them. I was there for them, and this is how they treat me? What is up with that? That is not a true friend. I have tried to forget things this person has done to me, but this time, they have crossed the line. They brought Tyler into this and that is too far. I thought we were friends, but I guess not. I don't know what I did to you to hurt you or something to make you do this to me and Tyler. I am sorry if I have hurt you in some way, but you have hurt me and I am sick of it.

Sorry that this blog is not the "normal" Lacey, but I had to get this off my chest. It is something that is going to bother me for a long time. It will take me a long time to trust this person again.

Happy New Year!!

It has been a while since I have written. I guess I have just been too busy enjoying the time with Tyler and no school :) It really has been nice. I have been working up in SLC at 7 am and that is something to get used to, but it is really nice being done at 1 pm. I think that makes it worth it.

We had a great Christmas. It was hard not being around family, but we know better for next year. We regret not going anywhere. It was also nice just relaxing around the house too. We got to sleep in, get ready for the day, and then open gifts. I am not looking forward to when our kids are trying to wake us up (if you have seen Garfield's Christmas...you know what I mean). It will be fun to watch them open gifts tho and that will be worth it. I got Tyler a tripod that he can use for any camera and he got me a cricut machine. It is every scrapbooker's dream! I love it! I think our favorite is the popcorn maker my parents got us. It isn't any popcorn machine, but it is similar to a movie theathers machine, but a little smaller. It is awesome!! Movie night anyone???

New Years Eve, we had a friend ask us to come over for a bit to play some games (thanks Kat). I accidently scheduled myself to work on New Year's Day, so we decided to not stay up so that I could go to bed and not be grouchy in the morning. Tyler went snowboarding with a friend up in Ogden. The snow could have been better, but it was a chance to go.

We took down our decorations today. It was sad to take down everything, but it is time. Now it is time for the next holiday! :) Hope you all have a great New Year!
