Happy Valentine's Day

I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day. We celebrated the weekend before since Tyler has school at night. I decided I wanted to do a home made gift for him this year and I belong to this great page and they had a great idea. Check it out here. They had great ideas how to keep your relationship strong and it is made by LDS women. I love it! Here are some pictures of what I made for Tyler.

16 months

Our little boy is getting so close to nursery age and I am so excited!! I know that sounds bad, but I am ready for him to go play with some friends his age and let Mom and Dad take care of their class (primary teachers).

He is growing up so fast though. He is learning lots. He is finally walking!!! It is so nice not having to carry him everywhere and not getting his pants dirty from crawling everywhere (especially the church floor). He loves to talk...a lot! He mixes in signs with talking, but that is okay. He needs to know both anyways. He has a favorite book "Good Night Gorilla" or g'illa as he calls it. I think my favorite is when he signs gorilla. Love it!

We are still working on the eating habits. He was so good as a baby, but not good anymore. I am glad it isn't just him (according to the doctor), but it still worries me. We try to give him food of what we eat, but he just pushes it away. It is hard because I don't want him to get in the habit of that, but I also don't want to force him to eat either and hate the food forever. I think he is still a little too young to really understand too. We are just still plugging away and trying to get him to eat more options. We have his favorites, but it is hard when they are really "snacks."

I finally have a schedule for him of what to do when we are awake. He has a nap schedule (since he was born), but now to figure out his day. It has helped me so much! It helps the day go by fast and I don't feel as bored. I am so glad I did this. Thanks SuperNanny :)

We love this little boy so much! He is definitely at the fun-learning stage!
